Communications Manager - Simplicity
Program Summary:
The Global Learning Exchange Program (GLXP) was developed by the WWCDM as a learning program that draws inspiration from a study abroad or exchange student program. GLXP was a seasonal opportunity for employees to receive budget and travel and work in a different Microsoft team in another region. The employee would spend 1-2 weeks in that country, learning from the team, meeting with customers and building a connection with peers in that country. After their trip, they'd share their experience with the Channel Marketing community, and the GM sponsor of the program.
My Role:
As the consulting Communications Manager on the team, I was responsible for managing the process. This included but not limited to; sourcing nominations, building communications for the program, maintaining the submission site and OneNote document, scheduling leadership team meetings to review submissions, and schedule final presentation with the participant and GM sponsor.
